The Water Cycle
Water Cycle: the changes to water when it evaporates into the air, condenses into the clouds, and then precipitates back down to the Earth's surface
Evaporation: physical change in a matter from a gas to a liquid
Condensation: physical change in matter from a gas to a liquid
Precipitation: rain, sleet, snow, or hail that falls fro, the clouds
Ocean: the entire body of salt water that covers about 71% of the Earth.
Fresh Water: water found in lakes, rivers, and steams, that does not contain salt
Salt Water: water found (and few lakes) that contains 3-4% salt
Accumulation: where rainwater gathers together on Earth, making puddles, ponds, and lakes
